03 Feb Hyper Scape (PC/XB1/PS4)
Ubisoft’s Battle Royale Hyper Scape was surprise dropped in July of 2020 on PC. Focusing on twitch integration it had success in it’s first month among the crowded field, but just a few days after it’s official launch in August Gamespot was reporting how it was struggling to find an audience. In 6 months Ubisoft was giving people $10 coupons just to try it out. In late January 2022, a year and a half after it’s debut, Ubisoft announced it would be shutting off the servers just before its 2nd anniversary. What happened to Hyper Scape? The Hunter, Frank and Alfredo are here to try out this game they’ve never heard of and Chris is bringing the facts about this game that never found it’s feet.
